RACHIAN ARTISAN CHEESES WILL BE EXHIBITED AT TBILISI WINE FESTIVAL

On  September 22-24, 2012, Tbilisi City Hall and Exhibition Centre “Expo Georgia” invites the city residents and traders to attend the 5th Annual Tbilisi Wine Festival. The event will give wine makers  from different corners of Georgia an opportunity to introduce their new products. Unlike similar wine festivals in the past, this event will also showcase artisan cheeses from across Georgia to enhance and enliven the flavors of the wine.
Among the “debutantes” of the exhibition there will be artisan cheeses from Racha that are made by small-scale cheese-makers supported by the project “Rural Development in the Region Racha Lechkumi” (RDRL) which is funded by “Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation” (SDC) and implemented by “Care International in the Caucasus” with partner NGO “Abkhazinterkont”.
